More than just software
MFL isn’t just tech. It’s a community.
It's space where veterinary professionals can access support, education, resources, and shared knowledge, without judgement and without bias. Whether you’re becoming a locum, scaling your locum business, or relying on locums to keep your practice running safely, you’re part of the same ecosystem.
Built from lived experience, not theory
We exist to simplify, professionalise, and future-proof how locum veterinary professionals and practices work together. Not by adding more noise, but by removing friction.
The locum world has grown fast, but the systems around it haven’t kept up. Communication is fragmented. Costs lack transparency. Compliance is stressful. And too often, locums and practices are left navigating it all alone.
MFL changes that.
We’re a platform and community designed to support both sides of the locum relationship, helping locums run sustainable, confident businesses, and helping practices book, manage, and pay locums with clarity and ease.

Our Vision
To create a regulated, trusted, and transparent locum infrastructure for the veterinary industry — one that supports people, protects standards, and ultimately improves patient care.
We’re here to do the navigating, so you don’t have to.
Our Herd
These are the people behind the scenes making MFL what it is.

Molly Fiander
MFL Founder
Molly qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017 and moved into locum work shortly after, not as a grand plan, but because life took her there. She quickly fell in love with the flexibility and autonomy, but found the reality behind the scenes confusing, isolating, and far harder than it needed to be.
That experience is why Management For Locums exists.
Molly built MFL to make locum working clearer, more supportive, and more sustainable, for both veterinary professionals and the practices that rely on them. She still works as a small animal locum RVN and builds the platform from inside the industry, shaped by real conversations and real challenges.
Outside of work, Molly can usually be found boxing, walking Stan Lee, her big loveable bully breed, or nerding out on anything Marvel. Molly also supported and scaled her boyfriend's classic car restoration business. They plan on driving to Nuremberg soon. She’s passionate about building things that genuinely help people and doing it with transparency, humour, and heart.
