Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals. Growing up, I wanted a career where I could ensure as many animals, big or small - receive the best care and the most love.​ I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017 and in 2018, for personal reasons, I fell into the locum world. It wasn’t planned and it was supposed to be a short term thing. But a few months in, I fell in love. I suddenly had the ability to work wherever I wanted, with whoever I wanted and when I wanted! I realised I’m completely in charge of my own life!​The reason it took me months rather weeks or even days to fall in love with my new lease of life was simply that I had no idea what I was doing. There was no help on how to become a locum and for me, the first few months were a struggle until I found my feet. That is when I created Management For Locums. I don’t want others to go through what I did. I don’t want you to not take the locum leap because it’s scary.​Management For Locums was created in 2019 and since then has helped thousands of veterinary professionals become a locum, Full time, part-time, to teach or diverse their income.​I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and always striving for significant outcomes. When you work with me, you should expect a collaboration with transparency and consistency. My goal is to help you become your own boss and take back control of your career, your goals and your path.
