Who sees locum information?
Only practices locums have joined (via Locum Bank or application) can view their full profile. Locums must ensure their profile is complete in order to see the jobs/locum banks available
Do locums invoice through MFL?
Right now, locums can upload documents or send invoices directly via Practice Chat.Full invoicing + payments will be coming in a future release.
How much does it cost to use MFL as a locum?
MFL is completely free for locums! To get started register here, and you'll be granted full access to our bespoke resource bank, as well as community forums, where you'll be able to interact with locum professionals throughout the entirety of the UK.
What should I do if I'm having problems with the platform?
Just email platformmfl@gmail.com — we respond quickly, especially for early practices.Screenshots and shift IDs help us resolve issues faster.
How do I find locum opportunities?
You can find locum opportunities direct through the Management for Locums (MFL) platform. Here we keep your conversations, bookings and T+Cs safe all in one place, so you can readily access them whenever they're needed
Can a shift be edited are publishing?
Yes — you can edit rates, description, who it is sent too at any time.Updates appear instantly to locums.
What if a locum cancels a confirmed shift?
You’ll be notified instantly.The day automatically reopens for other locums to apply for — no manual work needed.
