for a laugh. It can be quite fast-paced, with some sole charge in the evening before close (but OOH hospital available so only phone triage if needed).

Specific skills or certifications required (e.g., ECC, anaesthesia , consults). Mid-level-senior. Happy running consultations, GA. Feline friendly (certificate desirable)
Important Qualities
Good sense of humour, cat-friendly, works on initiative, honesty and compassion.
Typical Day for a Vet
Arrive at 8.15am, pop your bags/lunch in the staff room. Consults 0830-1100, surgeries 11-1, lunch (1hr), additional procedures if needed 2-3, consults 4- 6.30). Usually only locum cover when both in-house vets off.
Typical Day for a Vet Nurse
Arrive at 8am, pop bags/lunch in the staff room, early nurse admits 8-9, ops 9-1. Lunch 1-1.30. Additional procedures/tidy 1.30-4.
Late nurse arrive 11am, consults 1130-1330. Lunch 1330-1400. Flea/worm dispensary, order 1400-1600. Final tidy and patient discharges 1600-1900.
